Anna Baker (nee Alexovsky)

After a short and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer, while surrounded by the love of her family, Anna passed away at Hospice Simcoe on Tuesday April 21st, 2020 at the age of 59. Beloved wife of 39 years and best friend of Jeff Baker, caring sister of Tammy (Boris) and brother-in-law Greg, daughter of Christina (predeceased) and Dimitri, and loving mother of Stephanie and Jordan. In her final weeks we asked what her favourite book was, and in a perfect representation of her life she proceeded to list a number of her favourite parenting books. She always put others before herself, was the best parent a kid could ask for, the best wife anyone could dream of, and a friend who was always willing to lend an ear or a hand. Her love will continue to be felt by all of us and passed on for future generations who will hear endless stories of her compassion and kindness. Family and friends will be invited to a celebration of life at a later date.
