Carol Anne Hamilton (Tait)

Following a short but courageous battle with Cancer, passed away peacefully, at Simcoe Hospice on Wednesday, January 15th at the age of 69.

Beloved wife and best friend to Glen (deceased 2023) for 46 years. 

Dear Sister to Lorraine Tait (Terry 1999), Keith Tait (Susan) and Steve Tait (Debbie). Proud Aunt of Jason Grigg-Tait (Kala) and their 3 sons. Lovingly remembered by several cousins. Cherished dog and cat “Mom” to Jasper & Ruby. 

Her legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of so many friends as well as previous co-workers at Toronto Housing.

Born to parents Jean & Charles Tait (pre-deceased) in Montreal, Carol met Glen Hamilton, and they moved to Toronto to begin their life together in 1974 and later to be married in 1977. From that point on, they were together with a love that transcended the ages until Glen’s passing in September 2023.

Carol loved to travel as well as ride ‘shot-gun’ on Glen’s motorcycle. They spent many summers going on bike adventures and winters jetting off to warmer climates.

Her loss is deeply felt amongst her family and friends as her kind and beautiful soul will be forever missed.

 
Visitation and Memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 8th, at:

Visitation From 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm Saturday February 8th.
