It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother Carolyn Bennett. She passed peacefully in her sleep at the age of 79 after a short battle with cancer.
Carolyn was known in Richmond Hill as a well loved stay at home mom while the 3 children were young. She then worked at Kmart and Tomlinson Motors. She spent her retirement years in Sandy Cove Acres in Innisfil. Within the park she was extremely active in all sorts of activities. She was also part of the hall committee.
Carolyn was predeceased by her husband Barry. She leaves behind her common law partner Ron Lajoie, daughter Denise (Richard) Ryles and granddaughter, Lee-Anne (Richard) Gray, two grandsons and 3 great children and son Jason (late Michelle) (Renae Pelletier), 4 granddaughters and one grandson.
There will be a celebration of life on September 9, 2023 at the Spoke community hall in Sandy Cove Acres from 1-3 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made as we will be getting a bench with a plaque in memory of mom for the park. Sandy Cove will install the bench for us. Donations can be made at the celebration of life or etransfer to jasonbbennett@hotmail.com
