David Charles Barron

Peacefully on April 21, 2025, at the age of 79. Loving husband to the late Irene (nee Noseworthy). Devoted stepfather of Allan, Roxane (Steven) Hussey, and Leslie. Proud grandfather to Devon, Ashlee, Jessica, Kyle and Allison. Great G-pop to Liam and Brandon. Dear brother of Ted (predeceased) (Daphne) Barron, Bob (Donna), and Linda Wilkinson and brother-in-law to Joseph (Laurie), Walt (Sadie) (both predeceased), Alec (Shirley) (both predeceased), Fred (Yvonne), Clarence (Winnie), and Julia (predeceased) (Jim) Parsons. Dearly missed by his many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Dave grew up in Barrie, and after graduating high school began his career working with the post office. Dave enjoyed playing pickleball and teaching others the game. He also liked writing blogs and stories, though many of which his family never got to read.

Friends and family will be received on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at the Innisfil Funeral Home, 7910 Yonge St., Innisfil, from 11am until the time of service at 1pm in the Chapel. A reception will follow with food and beverages to continue sharing memories of Dave. Dave will be laid to rest at the Barrie Union Cemetery, 338 Sunnidale Rd., Barrie on Wednesday, May 7th at 11am.
