Dennis John Chislett

Beloved husband and father, passed away very unexpectedly Friday September 15, 2023.

Dennis was proceeded by his father John (Jack) Chislett, his mother Agness Chislett (nee: Welsh), Sister Blanch Harnum, brothers-in-law Max Chislett and Winston Harnum and sister-in-law Jean Chislett, plus his beloved dogs Dukie and Skipper.

Left to mourn are his wife Ethel (nee: Patterson) his three children, Chris, Jennifer (Andrew) and Jonathan (John), brother Guy (Islington, NL), sisters Lorraine (Islington, NL), Shirley Butt (Graham) (Carbonear, NL), Doreen Critch (Greg) (Cavendish, NL) and brother Doug (Diane) (Waubusheen, ON), Uncle Bob Welsh Islington NL), many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews and countless cousins, plus so many loved and respected friends and neibours.

A celebration of Dennis’s life will take place at his home in Alcona, on September 23, 2023, at 2p.m., as well as a celebration of life in Islington NL when we take Dennis’s ashes to Islington NL., to be spread at sea as per his request.

Rest in peace my Lifelong Love, until we meet again know that you were and always will be Truly Loved.
