Elinor Grace Lett

In loving memory of Elinor Grace Lett (Quick). Born January 1, 1938. Elinor passed away peacefully at Hospice Simcoe in her 86th year. 

Survived by Allan Paul Emerson Lett, husband of 62 years. Dear mother of Vicki Cole (George) and Stephen Lett. Loving Nana to Issac (Amy), Alyssa, Austin (Katelyn) and Ashley (Jeff). Great-Nana to Harry, Violet, Rylee and Landon. 

Predeceased by one sister, MaryAnn Stouck (David) of Vancouver and parents George and Kathleen Quick. 

Elinor was born in England and as a child travelled to several countries with her military family. Elinor travelled by boat to Canada when she was 14 and settled in the Ottawa area where she later met her husband. 

Elinor and Al spent time in NWT teaching before settling in Newmarket where they raised their family. Elinor was the Newmarket Grace Church secretary for 25 years and saw many positive changes and growth in the church community. 

After retirement, Elinor and Al moved to Innisfil to live near Vicki and her family where they enjoyed life with grandkids and then great-grandkids.
