August 23, 1928 - February 17, 2025

After a very brief illness passed away at RVH on Monday, February 17, 2025.

Predeceased by Bill Fisher (2017) and by Bill Soule (1987). Dear mother of Bill Soule (Doris); loving grandmother of Ryan Soule (Rhianna) and Tyler Soule; great grandmother of Zoe, Peyton and Kenzie.

Remembered by sister Helen Thompson (the late Bill), and brother Norman Richardson (Joan). Predeceased by sister Mary Neely (the late Raymond).

Gladys was born in Innisfil and lived in Barrie, Germany, Hillsdale and Elmvale. After retiring as Personnel Manager at FW Woolworths in Barrie, she moved to Sandy Cove Acres where she had many wonderful friends. She loved her gardens and hated dandelions. For the past year and a half, she resided at Woods Park Retirement Community where she received incredible care and compassion.

We are grateful to the staff at RVH Palliative Care for making her final days comfortable.

Family and friends are invited to the Innisfil Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 for a Celebration of Life from 
1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m, where fond memories of Gladys can be shared.
