Herbert Walter Parke

Herb retired from the Metro Toronto Police after 30 years of service as a Detective Sergeant at the 52nd division. He avidly enjoyed birdwatching and woodworking. Born on March 15, 1933, in Gravenhurst, Ontario, to Walter and Cecilia Parke, his brother Frank (Edna) predeceased. He was a loving husband to Gerry; father of David and Bruce; father-in-law to Cindy and Tina; grandfather to Andrew (Sarah), Brandon (Ashlyn), Christian, Mariah (Joey), Elaina (Kody), and Dawson; great-grandfather to Fiona and Aislinn.

His wit, humour, and love for his family will be sadly missed by all.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be given to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie, Ontario.
