José Manuel Fernandes

Jose Manuel Fernandes passed away peacefully this morning, August 27, 2024 at home surrounded by his loving Family.

Born in Sao Miguel, Acores, Portugal on July 18, 1957. Jose was the son of Jose Manuel Domingos and Antonia Arruda.

He will be remembered by his loving and faithful wife of forty-eight years, Maria De Fatima Fernandes; children: Sandra(Rick), Adelina(Steve), and Stephanie(Asiel); grandchildren: Michael, Samantha, Abigail and Zoe; Sister, Rosa Sousa(Manuel); Sister(Deceased) Maria de Nascimento (Bento Pacheco); brother-in-law, Benjamin Estrella(Sidalia); Uncle to Kevin, Claudia, Jessica, Alie, Joey, Lucy, Carlos, Rosa, Vera, Francisco, Jennifer, Lisa, and Brian as well as numerous relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held at Innisfil Funeral Home, located at 7910 Yonge St Innisfil, ON L9S 1L5 on August 30th between 2:00PM-4:00PM and 6:00PM-8:00PM. The family invites all who wish to join the procession to church to meet at the funeral home on August 31 at 9:00 AM where we will process to Mass, which starts at 10:00 AM at St. John Vianney Parish, located at 13 Baldwin Street, Barrie, ON, L4N2W1.

Jose will be laid to rest at Innisvale Cemetery and Crematorium Ltd., which is located at 7551 Fifth Side Road, Innisfil, ON L9S3S1 following mass.
