We are sad to announce the sudden and unexpected loss of our father Joseph Urh on Saturday February 2st, 2020 at the age of 81. Predeceased by his wife Josephine Urh (Nee Franklin). He will be missed dearly by his three children; Stephen Urh, Gail Urh (Stephane St. Jean), and Suesan Cobby (Shaun Cobby). He leaves behind three cherished grandchildren Christian Urh, Sarah Cobby and Emma Cobby. Joe is survived by his brother Tony Urh and sister Boja.
Retired in 1994 from Chrysler. After 32 years of service. He had many “Chrysler buddies” who he continued to keep in contact after his time there. Joseph spent his last remaining years residing in Sandy Cove, making more friends than he could have ever imagined. His family was the most important thing to him. He was a caring, loving and protective father, wanting only the best life for everyone and by their side through tough times and special moments. His world was his little “chap” Shelby, his furry companion, who never left his side. Special Thank you to Suzanne Gourlay for being someone he could rely on and trust, always there for him when he needed a glass of wine and a chat.
Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Heart and Stroke foundation. Friends may be received at the INNISFIL FUNERAL HOME (7910 Yonge St., Stroud) on Sunday, February 9th, 2020 from 1:00p.m. - 3: 00p.m for refreshments and words of comfort.
