Krista Anne McIntyre

Krista Anne McIntyre passed away unexpectedly on April 19, 2023. She was 61 years old. Her family is deeply saddened by her sudden death. Krista was born on July 19, 1961.

Krista is survived by her husband Jeff, her son Mike, step-daughters Harleigh (Lucas) and Brittany (Billy) and granddaughter Alanna.

Forever remembered by her siblings; Debbie Bullock (Merv), Kim Johnson, Tammy Johnson, stepmother Jo Johnson; stepsisters Arlene Seale (the late Roger) and Rhonda Barnard Wagner (Hans), and cherished nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Krista was predeceased by her son, Tim; father, Carl; mother, Bernadette; and sister, Maxine.

Krista was born in Ottawa, Ontario. She grew up in Peterborough and attended Adam Scott Collegiate.

Krista was a generous, kind, beautiful soul who was loved by everyone. She enjoyed crocheting beautiful blankets for her family. Krista showed her love to everyone with her amazing cooking and baking.

Dinglenuts Lodge and Johnsonville were her happy places. She loved traveling to warm destinations with Jeff, the outdoors, camp fires, family celebrations, gift giving and feeding her friends, family, and coworkers. Krista never met a cat or dog she didn't love; she was the best hugger; she loved meeting new people and would strike up a conversation with anyone.

Krista was a beautiful person inside and out. Her personality would light up the room. She cared so deeply for the people around her. She was incredibly kind and compassionate. She made an impact on many lives.

She will be forever missed. Until we meet again.

Celebration of Life will take place on May 13, 2023 between 1-4pm at the Innisfil Lions Hall 982 Innisfil Beach Road and June 4, 2023 1-4 pm at the Royal Canadian Legion 10 Nicholls St Lakefield.
