Laura Irene Ross

Laura Irene Ross (nee Secord) age 85, died Saturday December 14, 2019 at Matthews House Hospice with family by her side.  Beloved wife of Robert (Bob) Ross, mother of Daniel and his fiance Jane and Deborah and her husband Scott.  Stepmother to Tammy and husband Len, Tracy and husband Dave, as well as Bob and wife Shelley.  Grandmother to Shannon, Rosslyn, Daniel, Simon, Benjamin and Hannah.  Step grandmother to Jaylynn, Ashley, Jake, Amberlynn, Kiara, Taryn, Graysen, Aurora, Ellie and step great grandson Hunter.  Great grandmother to Isabella, William, Irene, Frank and Gideon.  Dear sister to Al Secord of Espanola, Ontario and predeceased by brother Roy Secord of Delta, Ontario.  Celebration to remember Laura's life will be Saturday December 28th, 2019 - 3:00 pm at the Innisfil Funeral Home 7910 Yonge St. (Stroud).  Visitation from 2:00 pm.  We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to the staff and doctors at Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie, as well as Saint Elizabeth Home Care.  A special thank you to Edie - Laura's personal support worker, for her amazing care, compassion and dedication to Laura.  Finally, we would like to thank the staff, nurses, doctors and volunteers at Matthews House Hospice - Alliston, for helping Laura in the final weeks of her journey.  Your gifts of care and compassion will always be remembered.  Thank you for giving us this important time with our wife and mother.   In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Matthews House Hospice as you remember Laura.
