Leonard Daniel Hopper

HOPPER, Leonard Daniel (born July 20th, 1946 in New Glasgow, Pictou County, Nova Scotia) – Passed away suddenly on Wednesday, November 27th, 2019 at the Royal Victoria Hospital, in Barrie, Ontario. “Lenny”, married to Patricia Hopper for 52 years. Loving father to Adam Daniel Hopper (Dawn Hopper) of London, Ontario and Simon Christian Hopper of Barrie, Ontario. Beloved Grandfather to Braeden, Connor, Brianna, Karson, Preston and Hannah.  Predeceased by parents Ronald and Effemia Hopper, brothers Ronald and Arthur, and sisters Sylvia and Catherine of Nova Scotia. Lenny worked at CCM in Weston, Ontario for 17 years and at Hayes Dana Corporation for 25 years in Barrie.  He was the President of the Innisfil Lions Club from 2005 to 2006. He had a great love of music and could often be found playing his guitar for friends and family. We will all miss Lenny’s kind soul, loving spirit and genuine smile. A Celebration of Life will take place at the Innisfil Lions Club (982 Innisfil Beach Road) on Saturday, January 11th, 2020 from 1:00 - 5:00 p.m. Lenny will be taken home to Nova Scotia in August 2020.
