Our family is very saddened to announce the passing of Lillian Florence Vaughan in her 105th year at the Matthews House Hospice in Alliston, Ontario, on Monday, January 27, 2025.
She was born on May 9th, 1919, in the village of Winkfield in Bracknell, England. and spent most of her life living in the Oro-Medonte area, Toronto, and, lastly, in Innisfil. Lillian was an avid fan of the Toronto Blue Jays, Barrie Colts Hockey Club and curling. Lillian was a volunteer to many charities and the Innisfil Community Church, she was known and recognized throughout her community. Lillian loved to travel (cruising) and visited many countries around the world. Lillian was loved and adored by all who met her and always left a lasting impression.
She was pre-deceased by her Husband (Lloyd), Mother of Lloyd (Lynda), Grandmother of Jennifer (Bryan), Darcie (Jamie), Avery (Hein), Great Grandmother of Abigail, Oliver, Lucie, and Korina.
Lillian will always be a shining star to her family and a faithful friend to all.
There will be a visitation on Sunday, February 2, 2025 from 2:00p.m. - 4:00p.m. & 6:00p.m. - 8:00p.m. and on Monday, February 3, from 10:00a.m. - 11:00a.m. Funeral Service to begin at 11:00a.m. There will be a burial at Glendale Cemetery following the Service. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made in memory of Lillian to Mathews House Hospice Here
