Lorne William Davidson

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Lorne William Davidson, of Belle Ewart on Wednesday, January 8th, 2025, at the age of 64.

Lorne will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 7 years, Linda (nee Waterhouse), his daughter, Hilary and son, Andrew (Amanda), his brothers, Gary and James, sister, Lori, sister-in-law, Gudy, step-daughters, Dayle and Leigh-Anne (Justin), and step-grandchildren, Eveline, Jake, and Charlotte. He will also be remembered fondly by his nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his parents, James and Anne (nee Hober), and his brothers Ronald and Leonard.

Born in Toronto and raised in Richmond Hill, Lorne had a huge love of all sports which included playing baseball, bowling and darts. But his favourite was golf with many days spent on the course with family and friends. Lorne was hard-working, and committed in his career as a welder/fitter and millwright that spanned over 40 years, but it was in 2004 when he started working at Canada’s Wonderland, in the Rides Maintenance department, where he found his work family. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. 

There will be a Celebration of Life held on Saturday, February 1st, 2025, from 2:00p.m. - 4:00p.m. at Innisfil Funeral Home, 7910 Yonge St. Innisfil. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Lorne’s honour to the Canadian Liver Foundation, MS Canada, or the RVH Foundation.
