Booth, Mervin Lloyd passed away on Tuesday October 24th, 2017 in his 86th year in Huntsville, Ontario, surrounded by his loving family. Mervin was formerly of Innisfil, Ontario. Beloved husband of the late Alice Anne (Fitzsimmins), and the late Audrey Mae (Gillespie). Loving father of Anne (Tim), David (Carol), Stephen, Joan (Rob). Loving Papa of 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by his sister Muriel, nieces Nancy, Heather, Linda, his stepchildren Don (Marion), Bev and all of their families. He was predeceased by his sister Hazel and his daughter-in-law Mary Jane. Mervin was highly respected in the community of Stroud and was a long time member of St. James United Church, Innisfil Chapter O.E.S., Minerva Lodge, and the Scottish Rite. He played the tuba and was an active member of the Barrie Concert Band until 2013. The family wishes to thank the staff at Fairvern Nursing Home in Huntsville for their exceptional care and support. Celebration of Life will be held at Innisfil Funeral Home, 7910 Yonge St., Stroud 705-431-1717 on Friday November 3rd. Visitation is from 11 – 1pm, Service at 1pm, and reception to follow. Cremation has taken place. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made through the Innisfil Funeral Home to St. James United Church (2230 Victoria St, Innisfil, ON L9S 1K5) or a charity of your choice. A celebration of  his life will be held in the funeral home on Friday November 3rd at 1:00p.m.
ANNOUNCEMENT
A reception will be held at the funeral home following the service.
Cremation has taken place
Private interment of cremated remains will take place at St. James Cemetery, Stroud
