Nancy Leonard
June 27th, 1942 - August 19th, 2022

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Nancy, on Friday, August 19th, 2022, at Coleman Care Centre, Barrie, at the age of 80. Predeceased by her husband Philip (Rick) Leonard in 2002. Nancy leaves behind her 5 children, Pauline of Winnipeg, MB, Richard of Nanaimo, BC, Elaine of Barrie, ON, Peggy of Barrie, ON and Natalie of Prince George, BC and numerous family members in Armstrong, ON. She will be missed by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Nancy retired in 1997 from CFB Esquimalt in Victoria, BC, she then moved back to Prince George where she was an active volunteer at her local church group. Nancy moved out east to Barrie, ON in 2010 where is unfortunately lost her battle with Biliary cancer. The family would like to thank the Coleman Care Centre where she received palliative care who provided her with the utmost care and respect during her final hours of her life. Nancy will be remembered by all for her compassion, her warm personality and her playful sense of humour. She will be missed by her family and everyone who met her. Cremation has taken place, there is no formal service at this time. Words of comfort and condolence may be left for the family on the tribute wall.
