Passed away peacefully surrounded by family, on Sunday, August 11th, 2024, at Hospice Simcoe, 3 days before her 98th birthday. Born in Canterbury Kent, England in 1926, Noreen was the daughter of the late David Manouch and the late Edith (nee Gawler) Manouch. Mom was a war bride coming to Canada in 1946, and resided in Sandycove Acres, Innisfil. Mom was a friend to many and hard to forget once you met her. Mom was young despite her age and enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. Mom was also a huge, devoted Toronto Maple Leaf Fan. She was predeceased by her first husband Jack Book (1987) and Bill Thomas (2002). Loving mother of Sheila (Bill), Jack (Susan), Jocelyn (Carol), and Cathy (Kit). Forever remembered by 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Cherished by her nieces and nephews in Canada and England. Predeceased by daughters Elaine (2011) and Dianne (2023), and her sister Joyce Needham and brother David Manouch. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Hospice Simcoe.
All are invited to a Celebration of Life on Saturday, September 14th, 2024 that will be held from 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. at The Wheel at Sandycove Acres (Located on Lockhart Road).
