Pamela Nail (nee Brown)

It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Pamela on Wednesday, October 9th, 2024, at the age of 57. Beloved wife of Kevin Nail. Cherished mother of Samantha Nail (husband Khoi Bui), Matthew Nail (fiancée Lindsay McIntosh), Aaron Nail (partner Gauri Murria), and Amy Nail. Predeceased by her father Allen Brown and her brother Allen Brown. Survived by her mother Eveline Brown, and sisters; Carol Wells (Randy), and Jane Panchyshyn (Tim).

Born on November 19, 1966, Pamela graduated with a degree in Early Childhood Education and dedicated her life to nurturing children and supporting her community. She was married to her beloved husband, Kevin Nail, for 35 wonderful years, celebrating their union on November 18, 1989. Together, they raised four amazing children.

Throughout her life, Pamela was an avid volunteer, dedicating countless hours to her church. She held numerous roles, including Children’s Liturgy Coordinator and Lector during mass. Her commitment to her faith and community was truly inspiring.

Known for her world-famous chocolate chip cookies, Pamela had a passion for baking, decorating for every season and holiday, and hosting memorable family dinners—Thanksgiving being her favorite. She loved gardening, art, and spending time with her beloved dogs, Ben and Chase, as well as previously, Winnie and Rolo. Her warm spirit shone brightly through her love for family traditions, enjoying plays and the ballet with her daughters, and her appreciation for life’s simple pleasures, like picking wildflowers and cherishing handwritten notes.

Her family will always remember her infectious laughter, her kindness, and her unwavering support. Pamela was a great caregiver, particularly to her mother, Eveline, and was often the first person everyone turned to for comfort and guidance. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

There will be a visitation held on Monday, October 14th, from 2:00p.m. – 4:00p.m. at the Innisfil Funeral Home (7910 Yonge St. Stroud), and a Funeral Service held on Tuesday, October 15th, at 2:00p.m. at St. John Vianney Parish (13 Baldwin Ln, Barrie) with a reception following the Service at the Church.

The family asks that donations be made in Pamela’s memory to The Scott Mission or St. Vincent de Paul, charities close to her heart.
