Following a courageous battle with Cancer, passed away peacefully, with Carol by his side at Royal Victoria Hospital on Friday, September 1st, 2023 in his 71st year.
Beloved husband and best friend to Carol for 46 years.
Dear Brother-in-Law to Lorraine Tait (Terry 1999), Keith Tait (Susan) and Steve Tait (Debbie). Proud Uncle of Jason Grigg-Tait (Kala) and their 3 sons. Lovingly remembered by cousin Carol Cardinal-Barsalou (Gerry) as well as several other cousins. Cherished dog and cat “Dad” to Jasper & Ruby.
His legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of so many friends and co-workers at Taro Pharmaceuticals where he spent 44 years.
Born to parents Doreen & Ian Hamilton (pre-deceased) in Montreal, Glen met, fell in love and followed Carol to Toronto to begin their life together in 1974 and later to be married in 1977. He began work at K-Line Pharmaceuticals in 1976 which ultimately became Taro Pharmaceuticals where he held a number of management positions until his retirement in 2020.
Glen was an avid motorcyclist and antique car enthusiast and loved to travel. He and Carol spent many summers going on bike adventures and winters jetting off to warmer climates.
His loss is deeply felt amongst his family and friends as his kind and beautiful soul will be forever missed.
The family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation to a charity of their choice in Glen's name.
