Peacefully and with her family present passed away at her home in Barrie on Sunday, November
19, 2023 in her 81st year. Beloved wife of the late Ronald Crocco, her husband of 47 years.
Loving Mother of Rhonda, Lisa (Scott) and Tina. Dear Nana to Cara, Emily, Chelsea and Kaynan.
Loving Sister to Arthur, Jimmy and the Late Alfie Jobin. Dearest Friends and Cousins of Marilyn
and Bernard Nobert, and Gail Rosettis. She will also be missed by her Grand-Furs Trapper,
Oakley, Esme and her smaller furry friends, Oscar and Mr. Poo Poo.
Thank you to her caregivers & friends at Serenity Retirement Residence, Community Paramedic
Services, and Catherine Ecker Minister of Holy Communion to the Homebound, St. Mary’s
Parish. You all brought our mother great comfort.
Shirley had many talents. She was a fantastic cook and an athlete (swimming, curling, Judo).
One of her other passions was watching the Toronto Blue Jays; Often giving them a little boost
by wearing her jersey during the game and cheering them on. No matter how much discomfort
she was dealing with, she always gave you a bright smile and had a twinkle in her eye. She was
kind to everyone and made sure you were always included. Shirley was happiest around her
family. Above all she was a wonderful Mother.
Friends and relatives will be received at the Innisfil Funeral Home, 7910 Yonge St. (Stroud) (705-
