GALLEY, Walter Douglas (25 year employee with the Toronto Transit Commission) - Passed away surrounded by family at St. Michaels Hospital in Toronto on Wednesday, March 15th, 2017 in his 79th year. Beloved husband of Betty. Dear father of Suzanne Galley (John Cartolano) and Shari-Lynne Galley. Loving grandfather of Lacey Russo (Rick), Shawna Loper, Scott Loper, Jonah Boland, Dakota Whynot, Joshua Varriano, Antonia Cartolano, Shania Whynot and great-grandfather of Maxwell Russo and Samantha Russo. Brother of Lorraine Lajeunesse (Richard), Carol Reid (Bob) and Dennis Galley (Jill). Walter will be missed by his father-in-law Paul Champigny (Joan), as well as his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at the Salvation Army Citadel (151 Lillian Crescent, Barrie) on Saturday, March 25th, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. with visitation from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army Barrie Band through the INNISFIL FUNERAL HOME, 7910 Yonge Street (Stroud).
