William Baxter

BAXTER, William Franklin – Passed away surrounded by family at Hospice Simcoe, on Sunday, October 28th, 2018, in his 90th year. Cherished husband of Hazel Baxter (nee Carnegie). Beloved father of Lynn Trent (Wilf) and Brian. Loving grandfather of Danielle Baxter (Thomas), Dustin Baxter, Bill Trent, Christina Trent, and Samantha Trent. Special great-grandfather of Derek and Rylee. Predeceased by parents Frank and Mary Baxter. Adored brother of Mable (Paul), Irene (Henry), and Jim. Born September 14th, 1929 in Theodore Saskatchewan. William retired to Sandy Cove Acres before moving on to Heritage Place in Barrie. He loved to entertain and play music on his accordion, as well as singing in many different choirs. William will be fondly remember by his many friends and family. A Memorial Service will be held at St. James United Church, Stroud, Ontario, on Thursday, November 1st, 2018 from 1:00p.m. until the time of service at 2:00p.m. Reception to follow.
